One afternoon this week the boys were listening to my itunes and were singing this song at the top of their lungs. Hey, Scott says, we should make a music video guys! they were all "yes!" - they did all the outfits and setting up and wrote out what they were going to do and wanted me to do! They had so much fun and it took up a whole afternoon for them that otherwise would have been rather uninteresting! After moving this project to quicktime and then to xanga, it lost quite a bit of quality, but nevertheless, here's what they put together. The outtakes of this video are hilarious. I laughed until I cried. I'll have to make a follow up video.

Gave me chills. I love seeing kids praising God like that! You've got some talent there! :)

This is great !!  Great job kids !!!  The worship on each precious face shined with the love they have for their heavenly Father.  They know their God is great you can see it in their eyes.  It blessed me beyond words

What a fun and "powerful" way too spend an afternoon. Bubbie plays a mean set of pails there, looks like a natural to me. I also noticed Christian without his shoes and chuckled. I was particularly moved by the sequence where the children are lined up, hands joined and raised and it looks like it's raining when the stanza "How Great is Our God" begins. I did get that pleasant tingle shoot through me. I've had a great day today and this seems like a cherry on top.  So thanks for sharing!

so COOL!  i can see where it made you laugh and cry watching.. me too. i love shelton's obvious passion and sincerity~ that kid's going places someday {not that the others aren't.. you know what i mean}. and scott's quiet depth always strikes me~ but bubbie so steals it for me. he's just way over the top adorable beating away!

oh to worship God like this in our churches and homes and private hearts! uninhibited and truly FREE.

    love you guys!

It made me laugh, cry, & sing too!  This is one of the most precious things I've ever seen.  I actually got chills while watching it.  I think I will forward this to Mr. Tomlin himself. I think he would love to see this!   I have to admit, me and my 5 brothers and sisters used to do the same when we were little...except we weren't near as cool - we used hairbrushes and curling irons as microphones. :)

You should be one proud Mama.

this is really cute! i like!

and just so you know, the hair color is TOTALLY working for me. in germany every other person had it. i'm pretty conservative with the hair color choices and i almost went with it myself before we moved back to the states! rock it like you meant to do it that way!

goose bumps and and wells of tears..... how proud you must be.  "Let the children come..." I wish we could all be so free an uninhibited.

  • willowsmom2009

  • kraftyk46

I"ve got to tell how absolutly adorable your children are...I laughed, cried, sang...your heart has got to overflow everyday...by the way the hair is beautiful!

  • LBertram

Awesome. You're one great video editor, I must say!

And the drums....the drums were great.

  • Jocelynems

I could not believe the rain that came! Even God joined in! That was SO COOL... and and how at the very end... one brother (don't know their names!) gently grabs the head of his brother and fluffs on his hair, and then the other brother puts his arm around the first... it was such a display of how much love these children have tucked away deep inside. You are awesome parents. And, well, loved the quirky hairstyles, collars cocked funny and loose ties and sleeves rolled up and all that... such fun! thanks for sharing...
