Not a lot of time this morning, just changing my header as a few people made a suggestion that when they read a blog and there is no face with a name they wonder why the "hiding." I never would have even thought of that - I had merely thought it not really necessary, but hey, I guess it makes sense, or a good point I suppose that people want to connect and hope there really is a real person behind the blog. 

On another note, of course the following backdrop idea is all over the place the past year or two, and maybe even old hat in my estimation - but well, it's still easy and sweet. Great for outdoor parties. Just fabric strips cut and tied to a string. I think this idea looks way better outdoors then hung inside, but we've had some cold days still during this catalog shoot season. I also found that the strand is much prettier after a washing and hung up to air dry. The girls and I have made some gloriously colorful long strands out of scraps the past few days. They take very little time, especially if you have electric scissors (thanks, Grandmother!) and lots of little hands that know how to tie. We hope to use them outdoors the next few days.

Lake is all into wearing her older sisters' clothing right now. Maybe that's just part of being two.
