| | It's the big time rodeo season once more in this part of the world. Weekend before last we took all the kiddos and visited my grandparents, and got in some good calf roping too. It was one of the coldest days I've experienced all winter. Never experienced real rodeo culture? You should. Along with rodeo season, also comes that season to be shooting for the online catalog I do for a company. Tons of work amidst the crazy schedule, but good. I've been brainstorming once more on some indoor backdrops, nothing major, just simple and sweet since shooting in the cold and rain isn't my cup of tea right now. Here was one of our backdrops for this afternoon. Construction paper from the desk and few butterflies: After our work this afternoon, Lake was all up for some cha-cha music and dancing. She carries her "princesses" (as she calls her tutu outfits)in her little pink backpack. She calls what is in her backpack her "homework." Anytime music comes on she stops and yells, "Ahh! I need my homework!" She returns in her "princesses." I like this particular backdrop and lighting shot with the white balance more yellow. I'm in the process of creating a backdrop from burlap. I will post that some other time. Loving the effect. Here is a sweet shot of Haven hanging out with Robert one afternoon when he dropped by mid-work day. She loves sittin' with her daddy.
