On another topic: Fall kids' clothing. Here's some fun fall clothing and a catalog I'm obviously a little biased to: Fall Catalog. (No, I have no ownership or part in this company, just hired by them.) Really love their simplistic/classic patterns - and so cool you can pick out the fabric, trims, etc. and design your own outfit and enjoy home shows! Check um' out if you like this sort of thing. The clothing the girls are wearing at the beach in the above shots come from HK clothing. And by the way, they wash so well! ~ all came perfectly clean after their romp that evening in the dark sand and water.
Another gorgeous site you might enjoy: beautiful girls' clothing. These dresses are timeless. And check out the donuts hanging from trees. Makes me hungry.

And on the home front this weekend the kids came up with a creative way to stay cool. Some stacked railroad ties, a big tarp, hose, and a few others little details and they made themselves a little swimming pool. This gave hours of fun:
I'm grateful for sixty years of life God has given my mom (Happy birthday! I love you!).
She has been a wonderful friend and her example of self-less living and diligent work ethic has impacted me more than she will ever know. I am grateful for her example of ever-seeking, ever-wanting to know Christ more and being honest before God and others with who she really is. I respect her heart of wanting to put forth Christ as the first and foremost (instead of desiring praise and glory from man/people) and walking humbly before her God.

I'm so grateful for a new week! Monday included.
I am grateful for white maternity shorts that are so comfortable. I am grateful for the skating rink that is nice and cool and a place where the kids can burn some energy! I am grateful for Phil. 2, which I read to the kids the morning - and which reminded me of Christ's example and way to love and live. I am grateful for oatmeal and blackberries. I am grateful for a husband who dates me. I am grateful I don't have it all together and have lots of imperfections that make me needy for God. I am grateful for hope. I am grateful it comes from Him alone.
I should not be craving French fries. But I am.
