I love the picture with that verse. Especially the way both children are gripping the water fountain for stability.
Like I am tightly gripping onto God for my soul's sustenance.

The pictures of your children remind me of a family that came to our house from MI for the 500th anniversery celebration of John Calvin's birthday. (They stayed a couple of days and just left this afternoon). There were nine of them. One boy who was the oldest at 15, and all the rest were cute blond-haired girls, from 13-2 years old. It was a blessing to have them, and I miss them already.

The title of your post reminded me of a great book I read by Donald S. Whitney (Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health) Here are the Chapter titles: Do You Thirst For God?, Are You Goverened Increasingly By God's Word?, Are You more Loving?, Are You More Sensitive to God's Presence?, Do You have a Growing Concern for the Spiritual and Temporal Needs of Others?, Do You Delight in the Bride of Christ?, Are the Spiritual Disciplines Increasingly Important to You?, Do You Still Grieve Over Sin?, Are You A Quocker Forgiver?, Do You Yearn For Heaven and to Be With Jesus?

I have enjoyed your blog for months now. I find is visually beautiful and capturing the beauty that come from Christ being in your heart. I have found a certain feeling of homeyness from your outdoor images and I could not figure out why, until I saw the street sign picture in the above post...I am a TX girl and the area that I assume you all live, is my favorite part of TX.
